Hard to nail this one down
for me...I like most music...do not like, well actually, can't stand rap. I like
old rock and roll from the 50's through the 90's. I guess my favorite vocalist
would be Steve Perry from Journey. I like country music as well, both the older
stuff and the more recent. I also like listening to Christian Pop and Christian
Rock. I guess my favorite Christian Vocalist would be Michael Combs. He's
awesome.

Movies
Christmas Vacation, The Christmas Story with the infamous red ryder bb gun. I like comedy's, but also like dramatics and plot twisting tales. Recently saw "Raising the Giants" I must admit that I came close to getting up and going home in the first 10 minutes of horrific acting....but as the story begins to unfold, I related well with the actors and left the theatre uplifted. Wonderful movie for all....but if you have a teenager who likes sports, football especially, you have to take them and you both watch this movie and allow yourself to live the story along with the actors' portrayl.
Television
Well we watch, the whole family, "American Idol", other than that, my wife and I do not mix here very well at all............ but for me it's sit-coms, sports, and give me some good ole re-runs on TV Land.....and I am as happy as a kid in a candy store.
Books
Do textbooks count....since I vowed off this certain means of entertainment for some... I read my bible, Sunday School Lesson and an occasional email or cartoon.
Heroes
Next to Christ...I guess my Hero would be my Dad. Although I just thought he was clueless to what "cool and uncool" and was very strick with any violation of rules. However, now I know that I was blessed by the Lord with wonderful parents who instilled in me love, respect for others....and I'll never forget a letter I got from him when I graduated from undergrad school... a phrase right in the middle of letter stood out and has stayed with me.... he said, "let your yes mean yes and your no's mean no and always honor your word, for this son is where your real character will show.
About me: I am a
40 years old and I am married to a beautiful woman(Kim). We have two wonderful, and sometimes crazy, little boys we love very much. The oldest, Conner, he turned 6 in January and the the youngest, Owen, just turned 4 in January. Our Peek-a-poo just passed a few months ago, so we miss him. He lived to be almost 14. On a brighter note, as of March 5, 2008 my wife and I have been married 14 years.
We live in Meridian, Ms and my wife and I both graduated from The university in
Mississippi.... Mississippi State.

Who I'd like to meet: My mother's father Kirby Thomas Smith who died when she was 19. I understand him to be a man of
strong character and very well liked in his community.
I would also like to be at my Saviors feet one day... Jesus Christ my Lord and
Messiah so I can some how fathom how He dealt with the world of sin on His
shoulders, He an innocent pure soul who endured tremendous pain and suffering
for me and people like.
