Originally formed as a 4 member band of disgruntled health care workers called "Urge to Go", the title "MSV" came about with the addition of bass player Rafael Tragic. Their first two originals, "The Smell of Fear" and "Hand Fed Love", were based on the fun and nasty world of the health care system. Other originals, like "Inbredomania", were written in the early 90's by Guy and Sue in their former band, Rectal Paralysis. Don't ask what MSV stands for (although there is some speculation).....

A new studio has opened in Schenectady. The former Cat Trax studio on Green St, is now owned and operated by James Krakat and Marcel Roberts. Professional equipment, a well designed group of rooms, and affordability will put this new studio at the top. James is a graduate of Full Sail, and has worked at Quad Studios in NYC. James has produced many local artists. They offer a rehearsal room for $20 an hour with recording capability. Singular songs can be recorded or blocks of time can be secured to do a full album.
