i have loved all kinds of diverse stuff thru my life, from mountain climbing, photography, kiyaking to leather work,harleys, karate, travel, and dancing. many hobbies have come and gone and come back again, and that's ok, i don't have to re-buy a bunch of gear! currently im more focused on business stuff, and personal development. working on my German again and about to start training in karate too. i am always open too new stuff, love to try about anything! have an idea?Music
I am really varied with music. In high school I used to "cruise the drag" with a cassette tape that had john denver, pasty cline, randy travis on one side and a/c d/c. white snake, run dmc, and Beatles on the other....wtf? lol i liked it though. Most of the time i prefer country music, Garth brooks being my fav artist. I love all country music, from the twang and whine of the 30s-50s to the current pop music sounding shina twain (who is the perfect female form in my opinion!) I do like some of the newer top 40 songs, but they are rare. perhaps IM just getting a bit old? some other favs, john prine, elliot smith, johny cash, most rockabilly groups..love to swing!.....
Movies
Comedies mostly, some of my favs, hitch, any national lampoon movie, blazing saddles, nakid gun, austin powers cheech and chong, happy gilmor, water boy, monty pythons holy grail ect. now i do like well done movies that are not comedies; saving privet Ryan, the green mile, most tom hanks movies, schindlers list, star wars (of course, hey im 35 years old, do the math) dances with wolves, ect movies I dont like, horror movies, and any movies with senseless violence, and or disturbing plots. These kind of movies will bug me for weeks, so I dont like watching them. Llama song (The New Version)

i love audio books, they work well for me. time spent driving is turned into productive "reading" time. i mostly "read" nonfiction books. business, philosophy, German, human studies, self development, science ect ..Heroes
Ed Parker, the founder of American kenpo karate is a hero to me. He is the perfect example of a true martial artiest. VERY skilled, with a humble disposition. You dont find that combo often. other heroes in my mind are the people who go to work day after day, do their fair share, dont complain, pay their bills and never ask for help from any one. You never hear much about these people, but they are the core of the USA.
