Mainly country & rock but I'll listen to pretty much anything.Movies
I like action and comedy movies but I will watch really anything. I'm not a big horror movie person, not because they scare me but because they are generally lame as hell and they have no real storyline... I have way too many favorites to list... One of my most favorite movies (and books) is Into the Wild.Television
My favorite TV show would have to be Scrubs, followed closely by Cops and a show called 10-8 which only aired for one season thanks to ABC... Then there's also Speeders, Burn Notice, X-Files, and some others that I'm sure I'll think of after I finish this...Books
I've recently been reading more and more. My favorite books are Battle Cry by Leon Uris, Into the Wild, Some books by James Herriot and Henry David Thoreau...Heroes
Well I have lots of heroes. I would be lying if I said my parents weren't heroes, sure we have our differences but w/o them who knows where I'd be today. Also all the soldiers serving overseas. I won't voice my opinion on the war but I definitely support our troops (especially the Marines)!

About me:
I am a volunteer firefighter, an Emergency Medical Technician, and I am the former Missoula County Sheriff's Cadet Program Sergeant. I just recently "retired" after 6 years w/ the sheriff's office however I've started the process to become a Reserve Deputy so we'll see how things go... I enjoy outdoorsy type stuff like camping, 4x4ing in the mountains, hiking, backpacking, and fishing (although I haven’t been in ages) and photography. I work full time at Missoula County 9-1-1 as a "dispatcher II". I was trying to take classes at the U of M for pre-med but my work schedule and stress from everything else has lead me to seek other options. I am now taking online classes through Portland State University for a bachelors in criminology/criminal justice. I may try the whole pre-med thing again once life de-sresses some but at this point I'm just happy to be doing something and following my former dreams... I may hang out in Missoula for a few years after college to work as a deputy however my new dream is to move to Alaska and work for the Anchorage police department.
