I am a writer in the making. Most of my spare time is spent writing prose and poetry or non- profit grants. Mature, but youthful,50 year old. The "age thing" is just a number to, some silly mathamatian, or some anal retentives idea..to keep the world in order and check, However I DO RESPECT THE NUMBER but I pay it no mind, as far as limiting. Age does carry the weight of wisdom and expereince with most folks hopefully as they age.
Some days I feel 17 some 30 and others?..I'm all over, like most folks, but feeling younger as I grow up... I count that a plus..I embrace all ages, all friends... but for now... this will be 18 and over space...
At 50, my sight is improving getting much clearer, not dimmimg at all,in this thing called 'Life'. I think I finally know what I want to be when I grow up...
Okay~ I have digressed already... yeah, yeah 'About me'. ME, ME, ME, ME, ..About me... yada yada... well now,that depends who ya ask, about me really..ya want the... short or longer version?

I know I do this and it is annoying~ I know! even to me annoyoing, it adds to my overall annoying charm. Basics are:I'm a Mother of grown children, my oldest daughter is married, so I include my Son -in -law now, consider him more a Son "In-love", then term "in-law"..he has brought much love to members of my family, and its been healing love,..which is the best kind.
I live with my cat 'Frankie'..He is KING.. for now of my abode I just live in his jungle most days..he is also a 'psycho cat'..he came to my home that way Really! I take no blame for his attitude...My daughter named him... raised him, the first year of his life and gave him to me when she moved South ...after realizing hes..a bit nutty... good and nutty..not so good at times, it all balances out...if you get to know me you will then know my cat! He has been my 'angelic protecter totem'... and my#1baby since he came here...for the last 11 years..
I love books, collecting,& reading and just the comfort of them around. Love Libraries.. the smell and feel of books, turns me on... flea markets...are a close second. Other peoples junk, really is my treasure!

I am for Gay rights,same sex unions or blessings & marriage, and parenting, also for womens-bodies/women choice, unity of all faiths,cultures, creeds, colors,races, sexes,ages, eqaulity for all, against violence, poverty and war, death penelty and Euthinasia- Why and How you ask and can I call myself a Bible bileiving Christian? ~Good question~ Because I do not believe Goverment should regulate choices of the heart and soul and faith..if I believed that then I would believe we should all have been made clones, and one way as God supposedly wanted, but we were not. We were all created with free-will, yet equal. So in short, its between God and you what you do and,God and me, what I do~not the Goverment or each other

Love crafting, dance, cooking,music all types but vulgar forms of rap love the sound the message needs to stay fresh , baking, entertaining as well. Live in moderate to small apartment, but its cozy...and lived in......I am finally relaxed enough to know my enviroment does not have to be shiny& bright always... code for.. I have clutter, but its organized... meaning it may not make sense to anyone else but perfect sense to me and that is what matters.
Love walking after the rain..and in gentle rain, so if its not hailing out side, I am out in it. Enjoy all four Seasons...and glistening white, snowy still nights, falling leaves, crisp air, Its all pretty..
Freelance writing, from home,brings in some money doing technical grant writing brings in more , and technical Flex writing adobe, not as much fun, as much as helpful with bills. I am a out of work Social Worker..looking to get back in the field eventually, for now Writing for non-profits and grassroots organganizations can be challenging, is fine and I like the challenge..

Time is the biggest revealer of truth, for me.

Sometimes when we face making decisions on doing what's best for us, we have to tune out what others say and really listen to our own hearts as we make the choice on what will benefit us and what we want to do because in the end, we're the only ones who can make that choice for ourselves and even if we do make mistakes, and even if change does seem a bit scary at first, we learn from each new experience we encounter for life is all about getting out there and learning as we take those chances.
Just wanted to say thank you so much for your friendship; it's the most beautiful and precious gift I could ever receive and it's friends like you who add more meaning to life with the inspiration, encouragement, support, and motivation that you give to me and others around you.
