"Nothing is as real as a dream. The world may change about you
but your dream will not. It will always be the link with the
person that you are today -- young and full of hope. If you
hold on to it, you may grow old but you will never be old. And
that ladies and gentlemen is the ultimate success."

Mountlake Terrace High School Alumni Association's Blurbs |
About me:
In January 2005 a committee was formed to plan the 35 year reunion for the class of 1970. There were members joining and leaving until the final group set up a 5-year span reunion (1968-1972). The reunion was a success but several members of the committee were unable to visit with their classmates. The group decided they wanted to keep the momentum alive and in January 2006, formed the Mountlake Terrace High School Alumni Association (MTHSAA). In part, the MTHSAA was formed so that others would be able to enjoy their reunions but as with any group, with new members, came new ideas.
Fundraising Committee: We have tossed around many different ideas and now that school has started up our fundraising planning starts up in earnst. We do have some ideas that we are currently tossing around and will get started on soon.
Reunion Committee: When reunion time rolls around the alumni association is here to help in anyway you may need. From start up to the close of your reunion, we have someone to help. We are in the process of putting together a “Reunion Notebook.” This will be available to any one who needs just a little help and feel that something in writing would be of help. Then there are those who would like a more hands on approach. We will always do our best to be available to you.
Scholarship Committee: With donations received and the funds we raised, we were able to give a total of 4 scholarships in the last 2 years. The first annual scholarship was awarded in 2006 to MTHS Senior Rebecca Noyes in the amount of $1,000. The second annual scholarships were awarded in 2007 to MTHS Seniors Dana Clement in the amount of $1,000; Dusting Prucienski in the amount of $500; and Jessica Annisapour in the amount of $500. Scholarships from MTHSAA are for children or grandchildren of Terrace Alumni only, as long as they attend an accredited high school.
If you would like to make a tax deductible donation, send a check made payable to “MTESA Alumni Scholarship Fund” (Mountlake Terrace Educational Scholarship Association). Mail your check to: MTHSAA Scholarship Committee, 12014 20th St. S.E., Everett, WA 98205-2026
Are you interested in joining the Mountlake Terrace High School Alumni Association as a paid member? Although every alumni is an Association member, dues are voluntary at this time. Being a paid member does entitle you to a few extra perks, most importantly is you can hold an office. You will also be able to vote so when we have something to approve, you will have a say in the matter. The dues money we collect is used for administrative functions including locating and contacting those alumni who do not have email. If anything is leftover, it is added to the scholarship fund. Dues are $20/annually or $100 for a lifetime membership.
To join, just come to one of our meetings and we will be able to accept your check or cash and then get your information. Or if you’d prefer, send a check payable to MTHSAA and mail to the same address as the scholarship checks but address it to MTHSAA Membership. Information needed: name (current & at graduation), nickname (if any), address, phone, email, and year you graduated.
The MTHSAA meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the high school, room #229. Meetings start at 7:00 pm. Even if you’re not sure if you want to join, come check us out!
If you would like to be added to our association meeting reminder list, send an email to: jag58_76@msn.com. Reminders are sent out a week in advance.
