MT Lambda is a political organization that strives to achieve social equality in society for all individuals regardless of their secual orientation or gender identity. One of the ways we can achieve this goal is by becoming active in our government and by raising awareness of GLBT issues within the nation. Lambda also provides educational programming about and for the GLBT community at MTSU and Murfreesboro. We are also available to speak to classes on GLBT topics, and we also offer annual free HIV testing along with sex and AIDS education.

MT Lambda strives to provide support to the GLBT community and their straight supporters. We offer a location to discuss and share personal stories and concerns to relieve the stress we may experience from time to time. Lambda encourages all students to take advantage of the free counseling services offered by the University in the KUC Testing anad Counseling Center and the June Anderson Women's Center located in the JUB.
