Music artist "Purps" was born and raised in Montreal, LaSalle, O'Shai ' Purps ' Brathwaite is known for his talent among music.
Growing up O'Shai has always loved music, mostly listening to R&B, Hip-Hop & Rap music idea's would flow through his mind.
Since forever O'Shai has been jotting down his thoughts and emotions through writing lyrics, he started off recording songs with simple AKG microphones recording at home and with a couple neighborhood friends.
It wasn't until summer 2008 when his talent was recognized and he was signed to a group called BG also known as BLACK GLOVEZ, a group that consist of about 20-30 members of male and female artist.
O'Shai is a determined young African-American who has his sights set for the top, he will continue to do his thing, making music he enjoys it and he is good at it.
With a little bit of time when he is recognized out of Montreal he will RISE!
