About me:
In 'real life' I work for a fairly successful insurance company. In my free time, I try to write. I used to write about wrestling, but now I mostly try and write about sports. I also keep up my blog as much as possible.
I dabble in web design, graphic design, etc. I also like to play poker, at least while it's still legal (I play online because I live in Chicago and don't have much of an option when it comes to live play). I stage manage occasionally, something I did a lot of in high school and college. I'm mostly "retired", if you will, but I have been known to do the occasional show here and there. Outside of that I'm a big video game nut, and have been since I was about 5 and played lots of Pitfall on the Atari.
I have a fiancée (Does the accent go over the first e or the second, I can never remember. Stupid French), Melissa, and we'll be getting married in October. I live in the great city of Chicago, and really enjoy it. I like the theatre scene, the restaurants, and definitely the sports.
I'm not really a "fan" of MySpace. I think it's a horrible idea to allow the masses to design their own web pages. If you really want a reason why I think it's a bad idea, go visit anyone's page, and there's an 80% chance it looks really bad. The annoying music, the bright colors, the text that blends in with the background, making it unreadable, the hundreds of images/flash videos/etc. people think they should post on their page. Frankly, it sucks. And for those people who actually know how to design a page, it's a nightmare to try and edit every single stupid style code MySpace has put together. That being said, I do appreciate MySpace's significance in the internet world, and with the popularity and influence the network has, there is certainly an obligation for me to create a page and add my own drop into the giant MySpace pool. So that's why this page exists.
