MTP (Meet The Producers) is a monthly beat battle held in Newark, New Jersey. It was established in March 2005. MTP (Meet The Producers) was created for the sole purpose to showcase men and women creative ability's behind the art of music productions and beat making. MTP (Meet The Producers) was created by Black45, DJ Max Jerome, and DJ Priority, with the departure of Max Jerome in 2006, Black45 and DJ Priority have strength their business chemistry and push the movement of the MTP (Meet The Producers) to the next level.
MTP (Meet The Producers) event showcases unsigned and signed Hip-Hop producers/artists from the tri-state area and as far as California. Each month new producers battle head to head and show off their creative production skills and talents for a chance to win prizes, bragging rights, free promotion and a spot in the championship finals. They are judged based on performance, sound quality and originality by a panel of judges.
In the past 3 seasons we have had exclusive performances from: Lord Jamar, Hasaan Salaam, Scienz Of life, Cymarshal Law, Silent Knight, Fresh Daily, Pumpkinhead, Tame One, El Da Sensei, Brokn.Englsh, Homeboy Sandman, 8thW1, Daniel Joseph, F.A.M.E, and many more. We have also had beat showcases from the successful producers, New Jersey native's Just Blaze and Illmind.
MTP (Meet The Producers) is also the only beat battle that features an All-Female monthly showcase.
MTP (Meet The Producers) has produced winners that have been featured in numerous magazines and who have established themselves in the production field of the music industry.
