Midnight Tears is a band that makes gothic rock from southamerica, and it always will be, but now the band is searching for a better future, a better contract to record and a better quality on our music, and we havce a plan, in a year; if life and destiny want it, MT is moving to Rome, Italy to make better things... but my heart will be always here, with the friends and our first fans, we really love you, you make the band grow here and in the whole world...
We also want to thank to all the musicians who helped us in our early days, our La Paz vampire brothers; Disanhellium (guys, thanks for your support), to a really great band, more than other thing, great friends; Sleep Alice, to Libelulla, and some other bands (Thank you for the beers) to our members family and parents (Thank you for the photos and the permissions), to gregory for being a bad musician hehe, to the alcohol for make us made a terrible caos from some situations :D, to the Pa. teenage ninja turtle mutant family (fuck you all); to the life, death, joy, sorrow, pain and pleasure... we will meet everyday, everyway xD, thank you and we promise to give to the world a beautiful simphony like all our inspirations... by the way, thank you to the bands and musician who give us something into believe!
And for now, we will play some shows live with guest musicians to leave you some memories until we return here with more songs and more love metal for you all!

In the very beginning, showing a obviously inclination to the “Gothic Rock”, genre imported from Europe, in the most part from Germany, a pillar country of the gothic- dark genre, musically talking; the style goes to Finland, where the existent bands at the moment (Showing a obviously inclination to the Death Metal) accept the genre, creating a new one that is obviously Finnish; Is in this form that the gothic rock, created by Amorphis, builted by Sentenced and finally plated by HIM, that achieves to “Baptize” the genre as Love Metal for the strong content of the lyrics, the fragile melodies, but the strength in the distortion, always having the main themes in the songs, Love. Pain and Death. (being a sub- genre of the Gothic Metal for this cause).
In that form Midnight Tears achieves to adopt the genre, making it’s appearance in September of 2005, funded by Ber, Osmy and Ozz, in the vocals, guitar and bass respectively, later Jimbo comes to the band, in the drums and Jimmy in the keyboards (Actually Sound Engineer of the band), and Zdenka in the choirs, member that for personal reasons leaves the band. The first Gig of Midnight Tears were in the Taypi Cultural Center ‘s: “Dark Gothic Dusk” (by the way, thanks to Violent Productions).
Lately MT begins to make many gigs and events in different places as Roccmus, Equinoccio, Carnivale and Taypi; One of the concerts strongly remembered will be with no doubt “A Gothic Nightmare before Christmas”, in December of 2006 strongly accepted by the gothic and love metal scenes, only few days before Christmas, inspired in the famous Tim Burton’s movie, a totally success “The Nightmare before Christmas” promises to repeat itself every year in better and new ways.
The year 2006 MT goes to the recording studio to make the first demo, the titles are "Melancolie" (Instrumental) and "I'll be Here" the songs say who are Midnight Tears in just a few notes and words, actually Midnight Tears are working in the Debut album, upcoming in the future time.

Ya desde sus inicios con una marcada inclinación hacia un "Rock Gótico", este género, "importado" desde Europa, específicamente desde Alemania, uno de los pilares del género; musicalmente hablando, pasa posteriormente a Finlandia, donde las bandas existentes en ese momento (que por cierto tenían una inclinación hacia el lado “Death” del metal) adoptan el género creando un estilo inconfundiblemente finés… Es de esta forma que el Rock Gótico, creado por Amorphis, construido por Sentenced, y finalmente pulido por HIM, que llega a “bautizar” el género como “Love Metal” por su impresionante contenido lírico, sus frágiles melodías pero aún así su fuerza en lo que a cuanto a “distorsión” se refiere; tratando siempre como temas principales; el amor, el dolor y la muerte (Siendo por esta razón considerado un subgénero del Gothic Metal).
Es así que Midnight Tears llega a adoptar este género, haciendo su aparición en septiembre del año 2005 (Gracias a una mentirita blanca que ya te contaremos en la entrevista XD), fundado por Ber, Osmy y Ozz , en la voz, guitarra y bajo respectivamente, posteriormente, se integra Jimbo en la batería, y después de algún tiempo llega Jimmy como tecladista (Actual Ingeniero de Sonido de la banda) y Zdenka en los coros, miembros que por razones personales llegan a salir de la banda; Midnight Tears actualmente está conformada por Ver (Vocales), Osmy (Guitarra), Jimbo (Batería), Gabbo (Teclado) y Erik (Bajo).
La primera presentación de Midnight Tears fue en el Centro Cultural Taypi, en el evento “Dark Gothic Dusk”, patrocinado por Violent Producciones.
Posteriormente MT comienza a realizar una serie de conciertos pasando por varios escenarios paceños, como ser Roccmuss, Taypi y Equinoccio, y hace poco, sale hacia el interior del país, brindando un concierto en Cochabamba, donde la aceptación del público fue igualmente fuerte. Uno de los conciertos más recordados será sin duda “A Gothic Nightmare Before Christmas”; realizado en el mes de diciembre del año 2006, donde se mantuvo una escena “Gothic Metal” o “Love Metal” pocos días antes de la navidad, inspirados por la tan famosa película de Tim Burton “La Pesadilla Antes de Navidad”, tales fueron la marcada asistencia y el fuerte apoyo que “La Pesadilla Antes de Navidad” promete repetirse cada año, innovando cada vez mas.
Cabe mencionar que el año 2006 MT ingresa al estudio de grabación, para posteriormente lanzar dos temas demo, el primero instrumental, titulado “Melancolie”, y el segundo llamado “I’ll be Here”, la reacción del público fue favorable, actualmente nos encontramos trabajando en las canciones que tendrá el álbum debut, que esperamos vea la luz el próximo año.
