Alright, it's time for the truth. Some of you know this and if you didn't this should be fun! MT-TV are ROCKBITCH We changed our name and hid who we were in order to get into the States. We had three years of good fun and then came home to Europe.

Some knew who we were or worked it out. Some felt betrayed that we had stopped our utterly explcit stage show (although not the backsatge and offstage fun!) But to hell with it, we've always been misrepresented or misunderstood. We stand proud of our music and choices.

So now that we've left the States it's 'safe' for us to reveal all because we can't get thrown out! The Official Rockbitch archive site is up, all MT-TV and Rockbitch videos will be on youtube in one place at a high quality, and eventually there will be a new album and DVD. Why the hell not? We have always gone beyond the simple playing of music on-stage, creating instead a multi-layered, multi-leveled conceptual and experiential punch in the frontal lobes. Don't know what that means? I'm not surprised! We're all exposed to so much 'journalese' - flowery language dedicated to describing differently what's already been done a million times before that when something utterly new comes along, the only thing that remains is to see it live. That WAS MT-TV, and that was even more true for ROCKBITCH.

MT-TV's gigs veered towards the darker expression of the female experience, and we continually created new visions for our unique stage-show.. ROCKBITCH took the constant use of female sexuality and female flesh as used byadverts and marketing and turned it completely on it's head. We felt that the hypocracy of only showing a saccherinised image of womenkind simply to sell or titilate was shoddy. Nothing wrong as such with selling or cheap thrills, only that the full spectrum of the female sexual psyche was then reduced to a conformist accecptable one-dimensional trivial lie.

Women bleed. They fuck. They cry. Whatever their age or body shape, they are more than our current culture allows or is comfortable with. We have always been radical feminists, still now when feminisn is a dirty word or so politically correct that no-one benefits at all. We go back to the basics. Sex...and female sexualtiy in particular. The driving force behind ALL, the source of all Art, Passion, Glory... (and all Pain too...but that's a rant for a different day!)

Who does our music appeal to? Weirdly enough - it seems to be everyone... From Goths and metalheads to pop-fans and so-called 'normal' men and women of every age... For a start, half the planet are female, and women seem to relate to what we do and sing about, they love the music, and then sigh in relief that there are women out there who are more than just a 'girl-band'.The other half of the planet seem to be fairly interested in the first half, so we're pretty great for them too! We don't mind a certain amount of the 'eye-candy' factor going down, once we start to play, within minutes they all see further into our souls and standards.

Actually, experience has proved me wrong there. It seems that there are idiots so thrown by us being female (let alone when we start getting filthy) that they insist on disbelieving the evidence of their ears and eyes. Oh well. There will always be stupid people.

We no longer play live and some of us are pursuing different careers. There has been no big bust-up or split ( despite rumours!) but we stand by everything we have ever done or said. We've always felt that because we are an all female band, we have the power to make some specific points relating to the female perspective and experience. A combination of spirituality, protest and the classic sheer essence of rock music - that un-nameable bit that really GETS you whoever the band are...combined with symbolic theatrics in the case of MT-TV, or out and out visceral demonstrations and hard-art video montage for ROCKBITCH - to accompany our more thematic lyrics. In plain and simple language - brilliant music with a live show that stopped anyone in their tracks. If you were there, you know.

Neither MT-TV or ROCKBITCH were ever a 'girl-band', or a product. Our bolshiness and confidence and sheer GODDAMN LOOK AT THAT comes from having lived life rather than an image created and strapped on for the camera's. We lived it. We meant it. We still do. Behind closed doors. LIE

We have exited the States and returned to Europe. During that time I did nothing on this site - so if you didn't receive your DVD or get an email answer that's why. I am on it.

KROW: Our black feathered vocal power and songwriter. Her voice is really something else...Stunning range, enigmatic and powerful on-stage.

FUSE: Killer bass. A fretless Steinberger is her weapon of choice and she spanks that plank with unrelenting accuracy. Receiver of much professional acclaim...seriously, if you are a bassist you have to see this woman play before you quit in the face of her talent.

JO: Killer drums and percussion...metronome addict! No, not methadone METRONOME...! Another blazing talent with her personal growing fanbase of glassy-eyed drum afficionados.

ALEX: Lead guitarist, bold and brazen...nuff said.

BROOKE: Rhythm guitar beauty. Solid playing, solid abs.

NIKKI: Classically trained Faerie on Keyboards.

THE STEREOTYPES: Blonde, Brown and Black harmonizing and 'smack in the brain' visual projection. The suppliers of the interactive theatrics...you'll know what we're talking about when you come see us live...
