The 2008 MTV Movie Spoof Contest

Attention MySpacers...get out your cameras, cell phones, whatever, and create your best movie spoof for your chance to win the 2008 MTV Movie Spoof Contest. Be sure to read the steps below before submitting your video!

Choose Your Movie

Using the scrolling list of movies below, choose the movie that you would like to spoof.

Be creative. You can mash-up more than one movie together if you want, create colorful characters...but just have fun with your creation!

Choose Your Music

Go to Pump Audio to download the music for your spoof, where you'll have over 15,000 music samples to choose from.

Get up to 5 free music track credits for your spoof. Keep track of the music ID number because you will need it when you submit your spoof.

Please Note: Your spoof can ONLY have the music that you download from Pump Audio to be eligible to win. Any spoof submission that does not use the Pump Audio music will be disqualified.

Here's where it all comes together.

Check out the sample spoof video, get inspired, and make us laugh! Your spoof can be no more than 3 minutes long. Make sure you save the original tape you shot it on as well as a copy of file you submit to MySpace. Your spoof video cannot contain nudity or profanity. Use your judgment, but be creative.

28 WEEKS LATER

The film starts six months after the Rage virus has spread throughout the city of London. The United States Army has restored order and is repopulating the quarantined city, when a carrier of the Rage virus enters London and unknowingly re-ignites the spread of the deadly infection, wreaking havoc on the entire population.
