It was funny that my mom was saying we actually needed your expert U-haul packing skills as we loaded up for my move yet again! Hopefully that will be my last move for awhile. I do plan on making a trip out to Portland this summer though sometime to visit all my friends and we should definitely get together!

ZOINKS!	Apr 27 2007 3:25 PM We are currently taking part in a benefit campaign put together by a local alternative radio station (KRZQ) here in our hometown of Reno, Nevada. The organization we’re sponsoring is called “Ronald McDonald House,” which is a “a non-profit organization that provides a home away from home for families who have seriously ill children obtaining treatment at local hospitals for an extended length of time.” Now, some of you may be turned off by the association of McDonald’s to the organization. If that’s the case, please understand that, as far as we know, the organization is backed by a local franchise owner and not the parent company. This is a good cause no matter what the affiliation is with the McDonald’s corporation. Anyway, what we are asking of you is that you help out and contribute. You can donate any amount you want, but of course the more you can afford the better. What do we get out of this you ask? Nothing really. The band that accrues the most donations in their name gets regular rotation on the station for a song of their choice, a live show sponsored by the station, and a day as guest DJs at the station. Since we aren’t very active these days we most likely won’t even come close to winning, so we don’t care about the prizes. Help us help others by clicking on the logo below. Thanks for reading this.
