True passion still exists in the souls of few. This rock group is creating a new genre. Much is Given aka M.I.G., is based in Lexington at the moment, and is banging out the music scene at many venues around their area with their bare hands. They've awestricken the hearts of those who love music, and love to enjoy music in the best ways.
They come straight at you with a fresh combination of popular styles of music, and always bring something new and exciting to the stage for every show. Their energetic performances can’t be tamed.
In April 2008, they released their first Demo album “2:Twelve." Consisting of 8 tracks, 2 were used in an independent film called “Surviving Guthrie” sponsored by Georgetown College in Kentucky.
In September 08 M.I.G. signed with Long Island Records and their first full length album due this Summer!! During the release of the album, they plan to do whatever it takes to expand their fan base in the region by pushing their album, and look to join a national touring act.
M.I.G. begins with brothers Brandon and Sean Meadows. They maintain the front line, and each crush the microphone with different yet impeccable styles. Their harmonies are tight as they seemlessly share lead and backup vocals. Brandon "Koz" Kozolowski, holds down the bottom end on the bass guitar.
They maintain a professional outlook, and an open mind to create a sound like none of the rest. Commitment, Dedication, and Perseverance sets the stage for much to expect.
Hi Much Is Given, All my thoughts are lost to your graceful gaze? The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. How beautiful is the snowshine in your eyes, so directly current from the static in your mind. Blinking reveals the true visage of beauty hidden within your eyes. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. The stickers hugging the fruit smell better than the perfume of ambergris. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. I sense wild vapors of sweet champagne in your larynx. I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. I relentlessly desire cotton candy lollipops. How can I help but use your eyes as a means for self-asphyxiation?
