The Most Amazingly Humble Person on Earth's Blurbs
About me: There isn't much about me that isn't just like you. I am a fallible fallen wretch who at times struggles for the approval of my fellow man instead of the God who breathed His life into me twice. I am saved and redeemed, but definitely not on my own accord. For some crazy reason God yanked me out of the clutches of Hell and I don't think I'll ever truly figure that one out. I've had a self-inflicted rough go of it at times, but I am on the long path of sanctification. I just haven't gotten there yet and it has been a while since I've seen any mileage markers but my Guide knows the way...
I have a beautiful wife that I don't deserve and a malicious (and also beautiful) puppy unfortunately I do deserve. I have a wonderfully loving church that actually pays me to be there (instead of the other way around) and a fantastic group of kids (don't tell them that) that God has foolishly commanded me to shepherd. I have lived in five states in about three years but hopefully I am finally at a place that I can home until I get to the Home I've never seen that echoes in my heart...
Who I'd like to meet: Um, how about you? I don't care who you are. Let's go grab some coffee. Actually, I hate coffee so I'll just get a coke or something. We can hang out and get to know each other...
Let's see who else I would like to meet: (in no particular order)Donald Miller, Brennan Manning, Brother Andrew, Billy Graham, John Piper, Pail, Bono (U2 guy, not Sonny), Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Flannery O'Connor, John Steinbeck, John Krazynski, C.S. Lewis, Augustine, Timothy, Judas (Iscariot), John Cusack, Paul Newman, John Updike, Rich Mullins, Martin Luther, Moses Malone, Simon Pegg, Louis L'amour, Salvador Dali, and Jesus...
