   About Muddy Waters Coffee Bar
Muddy Waters Coffee Bar is one of those cafes where one cup of coffee seems to last for hours and leaving is never rushed. With an emphasis on personal customer service, the patrons quickly become regulars and friends of the owners and their welcoming staff. The idyllic setting is part beach cottage and part ski chalet with high beamed ceilings and seating on the front porch that welcomes everyone as they enter. It is a cozy gathering place nestled within the Charleston community where people enjoy great conversation and a great cup of “joe”. We serve only the finest organic and fair trade products as well as beer, wine and a variety of pastries and panini’s. Every other Thursday, Muddy Waters teams with Palmetto Acoustic to transform the space into a “listening room” where guests can enjoy some of the best local, regional and national acoustic singer/songwriters. We are located at 1331 Ashley River Rd in Charleston (West Ashley). The original Muddy Waters is located at 1739 Maybank Hwy on James Island.
