Influences
The following is a list of the stuff that's influincing us NOW at this very moment... Neutral Milk Hotel (honestly i forgot how beautiful/awesome this stuff is) Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Television, Twilight Sad, Beirut, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Tommy Emmanuel, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Hendrix, Capercaillie, Counting Crows, Nick Drake, John Martyn, our pals! The 78 bar and Cafe Rio, France & Kenya, last night and tommorow night, girls i suppose?
Hello and welcome to the world of Mudhuts music, the sound of a young Glasgwegian musical collective attempting to safely channel its eclectic musical influences and generally have fun in doing so!
Jonny (future french student and wanabe jazz vulture) and associate Nick (art student and part time ambience engineer) have been playing and writing together for several years since high school, slowly forming a blues/rock based style, drawing on everything from Bob Dylan to Miles Davis and Jeff Buckley to Django Reinhardt. The recent arrival of childhood buddy Liam Hill (music student and tall person) lending his funk based sticksmanship, has only helped spark more creative snap crackle and a whole lotta pop.
And to top off excitement the band can now be seen in concert in all glorious technicolour! Small steps, but in the right direction. The boys would love to hear from and/or or see you some time and would be only too appreciative if you could make it down to a show. Excitement is promised!
So thanks very much for listening, and big love, The 'huts!
With thanks to Tomas Jose Hermoso Borges and Julia for the truly awesome photography.

Planning to go climb a small mountain next week, which'll be fun, plus take a visit to a couple of slums and maybe a national park if I get a spare day. Basically I've got less than two weeks left and want to cram in everything I haven't done yet.
See see you whenever you come back from Stirling mate, take it easy.
Yes i guess it benifits the pubs if people buy their booze! :P Sounds good man! ooh, Off to Stirling, eek indeed! Are you off to study there? If so what are you studying?
Thank you kindly! I like your stuff too. Your voice is cool, wouldn't like to get on the wrong sound of you, sounds like you'd give me a right telling off! annie x
i am pretty ill to be honest. The voice is still pretty messed up too. Which is going to present a bit of a problem. This is realy rubbish. In my deffence though i have not smoked in three days ..... and i went to the doctor and got antibiotics. I will call you later and we can try and figure somthing out. Bloody cold. x
hey dudes! Such a distinctive voice mate loving it! Enjoy the Stevie G gig?
I've got a gig on Thursday more within my comfort zone (i.e. jazz!) It's with some of the best frontline players in the UK yet we're struggling to sell tickets through sheer ignorance/disorganisation. There will end up being a big crowd and a great vibe and I'd love if you guys could come along and help make the night a success.
