Mud Octave is Admiral Alex Langston, a Bass player who grew up in Hawaii and has been making music since 2001. After several group projects (and many re-locations across the country) he decided to go solo and started writing music as Mud Octave in 2006, creating a new outlet of his infinite creativity. In Early 2009, Alex was asked to join the progressive metal ensemble Seasons Legion. Then a three piece, Seasons Legion had built up a deadly arsenal of songs to be unleashed at their first show (a battle of the bands at The Launchpad). Legion was working with Rema Records to try and work out a recording/touring deal, but later in 09 they split up due to personal difficulties. Alex wrote and released another couple albums as Mud Octave, then auditioned for the band Simfonik Plague, winning a spot in their line up. At the time of joining Plague in mid 2009, Mud Octave had ten full albums, one spoken-word poetry album and proved not to be held back by multitasking by still giving songs to his fans.
