Late 2004, Berlin, borough of Neukölln: The milk turns sour.
People call it MÜLLSCH. A first line up draws musicians from sources such as APC, SLAMTILT/SMELLY FAMILY, CYCOCRIME and NEUANFERTIGUNG. There are 2 drummers, so one starts playing bass, while the only former bass player starts singing. It could be mentioned (although it isn't of importance really) that she has been building a reputation as a karaoke singer in the dungeons of musical taste of a sort.
Early 2005: The first aim is world domination. Shortly afterwards MÜLLSCH discovers that they don't actually enjoy that. So they turn into PUNXIONÄRS and dig in underground. This works so well hardly anybody gets to know about them. Only a few chosen persons ( 6 in actual numbers) follow their first and only gig under this name. Strenghtened and with an unstoppable ignorance of self embarrassment they play a handful of gigs in Berlin. They know the time is due.
Late 2005/2006 they record their first Demo called NEUKÖLLN 'EM ALL. Actually they record it twice because the first version they did with a so called sound engineer is soundwise a challenge even to their experienced ears. The selfproduction of NEUKÖLLN 'EM ALL is well received. Just a few mention they believe the title and cover to be stolen somewhere ... The counter question usually comes in return, that if they consider that is theft what would they call the band's logo then?
Mid 2006 MÜLLSCH finally decides to take themselves very serious. A move a bit hampered by the bass players decision to leave the band. Luckily MÜLLSCH finds a carpenter who joins the band bringing a piece of wood with him. He uses that to play bass.
Now there are no more limits. Speeding up procedures they manage to play another gig in the second half of 2006. But that alone can't satisfy their hunger for action. In Nov. 2006 they start recording a new 7 song demo. This waits to be finished and heard.

So far 2007 saw MÜLLSCH getting serious (as far as it is possible). Plenty of gigs were played, e.g. at Ron's Karaoke Monster, again @ SO 36, Kato, Mokum ... to name a few.
The carpenter decided to get his kicks and sunburns in Australia from now on. He'll be leaving in february and although he is still playing live with MÜLLSCH the search for a replacement on woodworks and on bass/backround singing has started. If the latter is sufficient, we might not insist on the carpentary aspects...
The search was succesful. We found a new bass player. She will be playing her first gig with us on February, 1, 2008. In fact, both bass players will be playing there. Not at the same time, though.
The carpentary trade will definitely die out in our band. But it'll make it easier touring. We don't need to transport tools of all sorts anymore, just instruments and merch-stuff.
