In my spare time I play pirate with my very unique family. We did belong to a pirate group, but the dynamics of that group proved insane, and we jumped ship taking no prisoners.
I like thrift stores, yard sales and junk. I like things mostly from the 50's and 60's. I like squirrels, troll dolls, flamingos, pirates and collecting weird things. My collections are many and include sock monkeys, Pyrex and Turner Prints.
I love crafting and see myself as a great artist..ha ha. I am interested in scrapbooking, sewing, drawing, and anything made with a hot glue gun! I prefer a nice motel room over camping and I would rather be in a hot tub then in a swimming pool. I have three dogs and have ended up with some tarantulas. I also love to collect cookbooks and recipes, but goodness knows, I dont cook!
I collect recipe books, and am also a self help book junkie. I love magazines about collecting, decorating, cooking and crafting.

My grandfather, an amazing man who believed anything could be eaten with an egg. He also had a kewpie doll tattooed on his hand between his wrist and thumb on his right hand. When I turn 50, I am am going to get a kewpie doll tattooed in the same place. And you know what? 50 isnt that too terribly far off...how in the heck did that happen?

About me: I am 48 going on 30, 5'9" tall, have short, now brown, black and blonde hair, a bunch of tattoos and a number of piercings.
