In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Chicago born and raised...currently in Denver... Muhakeem U. Abdullah began dhikr (praise of Allah (swt) in a Sufi Tariqa in Chicago, Illinois in 1992. From the Sufi circle in the Masjid to mystic solo dhikr in Denver, Colorado...memorization of the Holy Quran has been made the ultimate goal. It is amazing how Nasheeds of Dhikr Allah Islamic music has become a powerful art form through which artists are seeking to perfect praise of Allah. I have just added Islamic Classical music. Hey, it should be fun; to praise Allah (swt); and possibly to raise money with, forgive me if not perfect. I do incline towards perfection...
