I just wanted to say congrats on all your accomplishments, especially being a female artist from DC. It's great to see things moving in a forward direction for talented people. I don't know you personally, but we have lots of mutual friends including my girl Dior, Roddy, Holly Fitzgerald and more (and we have definitely been in a lot of the same spaces in time). Roddy speaks very highly of you (he's mastering my new album, so we were conversating on your success). May the Creator bring you all that you deserve and can hold. Just wanted to take time to extend love, one female artist to another. I remember seeing you perform live once with Kokayi--i think it was an Opus Akoben event at Cafe Nema when Asheru was throwing the Guerilla Artists show I believe. I remember thinking--whoa is she an emcee? (always cised when I see other females rhyming)--You were singing, but I was just waiting for you to kick a rhyme cause your style seemed to resonate that you would, I enjoyed it nonetheless. I had never heard a sound like yours before and wasn't accustomed to it. For every woman who is a success, I truly feel blessed in my artistry. Continue on the path of light. LOve and blessings.
