Progressive country burning throughout the foothills and mountains of Colorado. Josh Breland drops corporeal bass vibrations while Darin Graber beats the beats he beats on the drums. Nicki Handy rips out the solos on lead mandolin while t.Mule growls and moans out harrowing laments, ballads, and waltzes while beating the hell out of his Washburn, and chewing on a set of harmonicas.
Each song is a tale of truth and lies, blood and bones, hard work, dirt roads, cold rails, and lonely lovely lullabies. Each word spills over with raw poisonous rapture.
With influence drawn from Robert Hunter to Tom Waits, Modest Mouse, Hank Williams Sr and Hank III, the Longest Day of the Year roam the rugged cliffs of old time country, and wallow in the swamps of rock.
Please check out our new "vampire bankers" comic music video. The guy who directed this also directed Madonna's first music vid. We think it's funny. Hope you do, too. There's also a free mp3 download on http://www.ukejackson.com

Get working on that music, boy! We need more CDs in our collection, you need more entries in Worldcat...and it all depends on you getting stuff on CD. I'm enjoying my classes waaay more than I did last quarter, but yeah, SO time-consuming! Yikes!
Hey, Sean, So guess what? I finally cataloged your CD today. It will show up in WorldCat sometime next week, probably. Took me long enough, huh? I know, I know. I have a whole bag of excuses, too, if you need to hear 'em. Are you taking classes this quarter? If so, how's it going?

hey sean, thanks for keeping after me, sorry to took me so long to get back to you. i have indeed left the harpoons, at least for the time being, but you will be glad to know that I am taking Inman Square by storm. I decided it was time to work on one of my projects and go all out with it, so I have become the disappearing man. I'm working at 1369 and the premiere of the show is going to be at the Lily Pad, so, all sorts of Inman glory has begun. I wish that you could have been around to be part of it. Also, in the time that you have been away I have discovered Tom Waits, who reminds me of you and whose music I have gotten seriously into. How's the land of the rockies treating you? I hope that its fostering piles and piles of new songs and adventures. I do not have the radio show right now either, but I would love to hear any new music that you've got. How did the release of the Folk On concert go? Alright man, let me know what's up. I'll try to be better at staying in touch from here on in.
