About me:
this is not a secret: i want more guitars. never mind how many i already may or may not own, or how often they get played, I WANT MORE GUITARS. anyone wishing to contribute to this hysteria in any form please get in touch. ever since i was an aging teenager, i have been very much an adherent of brian eno's sage statement, "...the passage of my life is measured out in shirts..." shirts are a lot of what i live for. new shirts, better shirts, favored established shirts. shirts that go to the cleaners, shirts that never get washed, shirts that belong to someone else. shirts are it. pretty much. i can state that i have on various occasions purchased multiples of a particularly suitable model of shirt, so if any of you ever think "gee, he's been wearing that same shirt for the last 15 years...", well, i probably have, because i have 3 of them to spread the usage among... expect soon to see something on one of my webpages detailing some of personal shirt history. The commuting travelogue shooting script is almost to the outline stage... I am shopping for a good dashboard cam system to use when the shooting begins. My technical adviser has suggested recording the audio straight onto an Ipod. Is that good? At any rate, I'm hoping to be able to shoot approximately 40 hours of video of the Dallas-Collin County commute, and then to edit that down to an action-packed 8 hours. The piece will have "chapters", and will be broken up by spoken-word poetry segments (ad-lib poetry composed during my drives). I'm hoping to obtain some sort of NEA or other arts funding to finance the final production and distribution of the piece, and it would be great if it could be featured in an exhibit at the Whitney Museum.
Who I'd like to meet:
marlon brando, robbie krieger, seymour duncan, and booker t. jones.

i am a myspace novice. pure and simple. i can design webpages, write books, play guitar and perhaps even change oil on cars, but i need to read a book about how to operate myspace. that or spend more time hanging out in walmart.
