About me:
Hello and welcome to Multiple Lazy Voices! Chances are, you are reading this somewhere in the Olympia, Washington area, but if, somehow, one of our humble efforts has managed to flee to another exotic locale—then hello and welcome to you, too!
This magazine is the result of the hard work and creative efforts of a group of writers who have been meeting together for roughly three and a half years. Three members were first introduced in a writing course offered through South Puget Sound Community College. Through these three founding members, several more were invited to join, resulting in a group that now features six diverse writers. Each writer has a unique voice and many carry some special genre or subject matter near to their pens and close to their hearts. Some prefer to leap from genre to genre. Some write out of personal experience and view their writing more as cathartic than a publishing venture. All of us enjoy writing immensely, whatever the subject matter and for whatever the reason.
To selflessly share our personal messages with the world, we decided it was time to publish our own magazine—the kind of magazine WE think people would want to read. This, coupled with a healthy dose of Olympian DIY attitude, merged to produce the magazine you are now holding. The goal of this publication is simple: to entertain those who read it.

But it doesn’t stop there—NO! This is only the BEGINNING! Currently, our writing group is the primary source of all writing and editing (local struggling artists also generously contributed illustrations). We hope to produce future issues where the doors will open wider, and we will be able to invite some of you to contribute to the fun.
