    MS Trust's Interests
GeneralAt the MS Trust, we believe that helping anyone affected by MS to access the right information at the right time is the most important part of our job. We provide information directly to people with MS themselves, and we also provide it indirectly by educating and informing nurses and health professionals who then pass on their knowledge to people with MS.

Who I'd like to meet:
Key facts about MS
  • About 85,000 people in the UK have MS
  • About twice as many women as men have MS
  • MS is usually diagnosed when people are in their 20s and 30s. Although MS can appear in people who are older than this, it is rare in teenagers and children
  • Although symptoms can occur throughout the body, MS is a disease affecting the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord)
  • Everyone's MS is different and for the individual, their MS can vary from day to day
  • Symptoms can come and go and can vary greatly in terms of severity
  • There may be periods of relapse of varying length and severity
  • MS is neither infectious nor contagious
  • MS is not a fatal condition
  • At present, there is no cure for MS but this doesn't mean that MS cannot be treated

I have Backers muscular dystrophy do not know how long I have to live I'm trying to get million friends for Disabled Civil Rights cause goal and short video Added me to your top friends please. Goal to have the Supreme Court Olmstead decision 6 to 3 Law enforced and have community-based programs for all who qualify for med waiver and consumer directed care which will save the taxpayers approximately 50% and provide opportunities for jobs instead of having disabled institutionalized or a nursing home. Also the George W. Bush presidential Executive Order 13217.Which means it has been designated a nationwide problem! To be Moses for all disabled people to remove the yoke the burden on our disabled back and set disabled people free.Keep Rock 'n rolling on!

Hi! Thank you so much for your friendship. My mother had MS when she was a live, she struggled with the disease for many years until she died of cancer a few years ago. Hopefully, in the next few years there will be better treatment for MS and eventually a cure. Have a beautiful day, blessings always, Embracing Angel
