Because we sometimes do not get recognized for BOTH of our parents' contribution to our DNA, being MIXED is something rather important to some of us and is quite deeper than being an "other" or "decline to answer" on a form or legal document· I created this group because not only do we face racial prejudice, stereotypes, and catch flack by confused individuals, we also have issues with situations from politics to hair! In this world, we are really multiethnic living in a multicultural world and we are just trying to get along and be recognized.
