   Multiverse Reviews's Blurbs
About me:
Multiverse Reviews is a new book review site that reviews science fiction, fantasy or horror authors who take the less traditional path to get published.

Its hard enough to get for smaller press or self-published authors to get their novels reviewed, but its infinitely more difficult when you are in a niche genre such as speculative fiction. We at Multiverse Reviews give preference to smaller press or self-published authors who are in need of reviews of their novels.

There are hundreds of talented speculative fiction authors out there who have fantastic works waiting to be read. But if speculative fiction review sites won't even give it the time of day, not even give it a small foothold in the genre that is their niche, how will these books get any type of buzz going??

All you have to do is shoot us a MySpace message with the following information:

1.) Author's name
2.) Book title, ISBN, Publisher and release date
3.) Is the book currently available for purchase on Amazon?
4.) What genre or subgenre is your book? (Sorry, but only subgenres of sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction or horror are allowed)
5.) Book synopsis
6.) At least one glowing review of the book has been published in a recognized media source, on or offline.

If your book gets reviewed, your book review will not only appear on the Multiverse Reviews MySpace page, but also on Amazon and Amazon CA.

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my 2nd horror novel SACRIFICE is now in stores everywhere, including Amazon.com! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride! Here are a couple reviews it's gotten so far:

“SACRIFICE is a full frontal assault on your senses. It is a dark, brutal, bloody and terribly frightening book. Everson went deep into some dark abyss to bring this book to the light of day.... I highly recommend SACRIFICE.”
—Famous Monsters of Filmland

“John Everson manages in SACRIFICE to dispense buckets of blood, provide edgy perversity, and walk the tenuous tightrope of horror and sex without falling: It’s rather an amazing feat.” –Hell Notes

Christmas is a Time for Magic!!

I've stepped a little outside my normal "horror writer" persona this week :-) To celebrate the season, I've created a Holiday Madness page, with links to a free Christmas short fantasy story ("Christmas, The Hard Way"), a rock 'n' roll holiday song I wrote and recorded a few years ago ("Show Me Christmas"), holiday wallpaper for your computer and more. You can hear the song and follow the link from my MySpace page, or just click the banner below. Darkest Holidays to you!

Thanks for the add. I like the name "multiverse" since is sounds similar to my book, which is about the "paraverse" or parallel worlds. Anyway, keep an eye out for Paraworld Zero. It's coming out in January.

The China Doll
Well, it's official!

The China Doll,
my new book teaching children in grades K-3
about their peers with autism, is now available!
I hope you'll stop by to check it out!

While I usually write fantasy, this is one children's book I had to tackle. Autism occurs in 1 of every 150 children born in the United States today, and the younger of my two sons is one of those affected.

Thanks for being a friend!
