Mumblypegs are Olie Campbell and John Chambers, two friends who began making music together in a converted washhouse in Autumn 2008. They write short, simple songs that aren’t too grown up and cynical, very often drawing upon a shared childhood nostalgia.
Their sound is spare and simplistic, and they are often compared to ‘Moldy Peaches’ and ‘Kings of Convenience’. Mumblypegs draw on a variety of influences, including ‘The Beatles’, ‘Nick Drake’, ‘Simon and Garfunkel’, and various nursery rhymes.

Dear friends, I am playing a free gig at the beauteous Union Chapel, Islington this Saturday.
