About me:

Winter seems to be poking it's ugly head out here in the sticks of Connecticut. My lovely flower beds are now brown sticks poking up from the dirt making the house look ragged. The beautiful green trees in and around my yard have lost even their fall leaves. I have procrastinated in taking down the hammock because to me it means I'm stuck in the house until next spring....there will be no lounging between the two tall trees reading a book....unless of course I bundle up well and then still freeze to death!

I guess it won't all be as bad as I'm making it sound! Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner so that mean the house will be filled with the aroma of turkey and pumpkin pies as well as family and friends! That also mean Christmas decorations which I absolutely adore putting up! Last year Chris and I bought the LED icicles to go around the house. Because they were so damned expensive, we are buying the LED's to go around the doors and windows this year! :)

The children are all doing very well. Emily and Amy came home last week with their report cards and both of them made high honors! We will see Brian and Alana's report cards tomorrow actually, at parent teacher conferences. Football and soccer are over now which means I don't need to run all over the place everyday anymore. (I do REALLY miss it though!) Chris and I are our usual selves....nothing to report there! :)
