Mundane originally were a four piece band who hailed from north Wales, who stated out in a garage playing covers of bands like Discharge, Sepultura, Extreme noise terror and Terrorizer. After playing some shows in the area and recording our first demo, we decided to relocate to London. After a line up change, in which we lost our drummer Edd, and gained the addition of guitarist Fred, we started to lean towards a more death metal sound. We then went on to play shows on the underground scene with bands like Nebukadnezza, Evidence of trauma, Necrosadistic goat torture and Dead beyond buried to mention a few. During this time we recorded our second demo and a three track ep. Since disbanding over a year ago due to members wanting to solely concentrate on other projects, I (Joe) have been recording some new material for mundane on my own. I have put up four new tracks for you’re listening pleasure, two of which feature Ben (ex-mundane) on vocals. I would also like to state that I am looking for a drummer a bass player and a vocalist based in London to complete a line up for gigging writing and recording.
