TRIAJE means three elements by trip, Cello, Piano and World Percussions. It is a musical group from Medellin Colombia that reaches the composition under influence of the colombian music, the music of differents regions of the world, and differents genders of contemporary music.
Without being traditionalist, appropriates to sounds of world music and composes getting musical pieces with a peculiar ethnic accent, getting a singular fusión without antecedents in the national and internacional scene.
In its music the improvisation and the instrumental and vocal exploration, plays an important role, in middle of the wide range of expressions that this offers: the passive, the intense, the sad, the joyful, the inside, the external. Is a journey for the listener, leading to carrying to an inner shock that slip away of the monotony by the diversity of genders and sonorities.
Besides the Piano, the Cello and Drums, the group uses a variety of percussion instruments characteristic of every continent, attractives so much sonorous as visually; instruments such as Alegre Drum, Maracón y Maracas Llaneras of Colombia - America, Cajón of Peru - America, Darbuka and Daf of Arab-Asia origin, Udú of Nigeria - Africa, Didgeridoo of Australia - Oceanía, Panderos of Europe, among others.
Triaje offers three kinds of events: Concert Triaje A Sound World (Un Mundo Sonoro), Didactic Concert and Concert of Painting.
