Cath's fiddle rocks, Jay's acoustic guitar drives & swings. Their vocal harmonies sizzle. Most people wonder how two unplugged players can make such a huge fat sound! No wonder they have been called "one of the most vibrant live acts on the acoustic/folk scene".
Cath Mundy & Jay Turner's more-than-a-decade-long journey as a duo is a celebration of collaboration in singing, songwriting, performing, recording and touring internationally.
Formed in Australia in 1995, Cath & Jay have been based in Cairns, Brisbane (Australia), Derbyshire (UK) & finally with the birth of their first baby, they’re back in Brisbane.
They've toured all over, recorded 6 albums together, played as support to such diverse acts as The Corrs & Rolf Harris, and scored great success touring with British folk-rock legends Fairport Convention in the UK. MUNDY-TURNER's biggest live audience was Fairport’s massive Cropredy Festival playing for a 20,000-strong crowd.
