About me:

My name is Rachael. I'm interested in and obsess over obtuse things that make others roll their eyes. I shave my legs with hair conditioner. I embroider pillow cases because somehow I find it entertaining. I realize how much that last sentence makes me sound like a wet rag, and yet I am keeping it. I have a potentially homicidal cat. I love and secretly fear him; you would too. I have never partied like it's 1999, and I don't know if I ever will. The Burger King guy creeps me out to no end. I'm fascinated with tattoos and yet I don't have any. (I will have at least one someday, though. Scouts honor!) I have never been a girl scout. My husband is my best friend. I have a fetish for books, purses and shoes, although the only one I actually indulge in often is the books. I have feet envy. I have a tendency to fill out bulletin surveys like there's no tomorrow. I hope there's a tomorrow. I make a mean chicken parmesan and my Betty Crocker fudge brownies kick ass. I will never be a professional sky-diver, jogger, runway model or politician. My job involves dressing like a member of The Village People... with less baby oil. I have always and will forever have cat hair on my clothes, even if they are brand new and worn right out of the plastic packing bag. I love Harry Potter books, and, if you have a problem with that, you can go suck it. I own over 50 books that I still have yet to read. My best gal-pal (Alex) introduced me to buttery nipples and they are delicious. (Now get your mind out of the gutter, perv.) My favorite cartoon as a kid was Darkwing Duck; now it's South Park. I hate mayo, mustard and anything pickled (excluding pickled ginger because it is awesome when paired with a good California Roll). I once had issues with salads; now I merely despise iceberg lettuce. My nickname as a child was (and sometimes still is) Monkey Butt. Yup, that's me.
