munnkie is an electronica solo project of Steve Cowan. Formed in 1998 as a test-bed for music software practice, resulting in the 'Simple Sounds' e.p., munnkie has since released 3 albums ('In The Eyes Of The World', 'Sorrowful Songs', and 'Tales From Five Mile Lane'). A new album 'Woodland Folklore' is being recorded now, and will be released hopefully in March of 2008. Later in 2008 the first in a trilogy of concept albums will be released. Titled 'Circa 1974', it will be followed by Circa albums detailing life in decades continuing in 1984, and 1994. 'Woodland Folklore' stands as a rarity for munnkie, as it features vocals. Enjoy.
