As gospellers have said, Beneath signalling skies, On land dusty to tread, A trough in a stable Was the strawy first-bed Of a divine baby - The forgiving Godhead.
A season for new hope - There then and here now; The yuletide of goodwill - There then and here now.
In respect of this chance, Beneath bright or dark skies, Faith's the star that we glance Attending Christ's churches And trying to enhance, With singing and ritual, Our God-loving stance.
The Mortusae double cd album is an epic sound release created by Nicolas Van Meirhaeghe aka Sal-Ocin (This Morn' Omina, Tzolk'in). It includes new and rare long deleted track and is a journey through time, regions and atmospheres. Mortusae is a restrospective of different periods of Empusae from almost a decade. A collection from early releases to more recent collaborations with friends & musical family. Containing tracks from the legendary maschinenfest 10 year jubileum, comic-book soundtrack and other never forgotten but very rare tracks of his first albums which were not released on hands. All tracks were mastered by Mika Goedrijk (This Morn' Omina, Pow(d)er Pussy). The red line through Mortusae and also Empusae's essence is dark, melodic, danceable and atmospheric electronic music based on the human gift >fantasy<. Merge yourself with beauty and decay, darkness and melancholy, tribal ceremonies and unearthly misery... enter into oblivion! Tracklist : CD1 HANDS D138 1. Agony (Misère I) 2. Video documentation of a performance piece by my friend Nate Kassel who rode around on his bike slapping high-fives to people who were trying to hail taxi cabs in NYC. Enjoy!

Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; "Broken-roofed buildings" are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?
Hello, Haruki san! Honored to be among your friends. Here's hoping we meet out there in the real world. meanwhile, enjoy ...
