About Murder In Greenwich (show at the silo! 1/29/10)
Murder In Greenwich also know as "MIG" was a Death-core band based out of Lancaster County Pennsylvania. Formed from a combination of past local bands ranging from metal, hardcore, and rock. In early 2007 MIG was created to put aside mainstream metal and take a different approach by bringing out the brutal side of Lancaster. Starting off with a "Garage band" demo MIG was quick to jump for the big time studio. And in February of 2008 hit the studio with Carson Slovak, a well respected recording engineer in Lancaster, and released their album entitled "The Greatest Story Ever Told", licensing it with Romulus X Records. Just when the album was at its peak MIG's line-up started to fall apart. Jason and Chris tried to keep the band alive by re-forming the line-up, but fell short because they could not find dedicated members to keep the band going. After a couple months of basically calling it quits The old line-up was hanging out at a local show when they all agreed to give it one more shot! Finishing off the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009 with some of their best shows ever! This band has changed the lives for all its members. Accomplishing so many goals they never dreamed would happen. Jason has gone on pursuing life and protecting the country with the military. Brent and Chris our each continuing to pursue a music career. James its going to college and Josh is taking life one step at a time and living. There is talk about a re-union show years down the road just to get the old group back together and so who knows? until then... KEEP IT BRUTAL! We are thankful for every fan that supported us along this road, our families, and much much more.
