***Murder King ilk olarak 2002 yilinda Ozgur Ozkan (Ex-Humanity, Soul Sacrifice, Ascraeus) ve Alper Tabakcilar (Catafalque) tarafindan kuruldu. O zamanki amac barlardaki kendini tekrarlayan sarkilari calmamak yeni ve sert bir tarz ortaya koyabilmekti.
***Bu kadroyla o zamanin tek uygun mekani CARAVANda sahne alindi. Klasik metal cover'lari ve sert thrash parcalarinin yani sira o zamana kadar barlarda calinmayan COAL CHAMBER, STATIC-X gibi gruplarin parcalarida icra edildi. Bir kisim seyirci anlamakta zorlanirken, bir kisim seyirci ise cok memnundu.
***Proje, temel sorun olan rock bar isletmecilerinin rock muzikten anlamamasi gibi bir gercekler yuzleserek birkac program sonunda, sert caliyorsunuz arkadaslar denerek bitirildi, o donem bu muzigin sahnelenebilecegi baska mekan olmadigi icin proje rafa kalkti.
***yil 2005 oldugunda ozgur ozkan ve onur akca projeyi tekrar hayata gecirmeye karar verdiler, aslinda proje yeni bir bar grubu olusturmakti... fakat proje ozgurun Murder King'in devami olarak dusunmesiyle isimsel olarak ve ayni ruhu tasiyan bir yapida ilerledi. Gruba gitaristler olarak Alper Yurekoglu ve Firat Oz dahil oldu... Iyikide geldiler ve bugune varmamizi sagladilar. Grup 2005 mayisindan - 2007 ocak'ina kadar Cumartesi geceleri sahne aldi. Saglam bir dinleyici kitlesi ve kendilerinden nedense nefret eden ayri bir kitlede olusturdu.
***2006 yilinda grup projelerini ikinci ayagi olan akustik gecelere basladi, oldukca keyif veren proje carsamba geceleri hayata gecirilmeye devam ediyor. Ayrica 2006 ortasindan sonra gruba Ozlem Tekin'le yaptigi calismalardan tanidigimiz Ozhan Denec'te klavyesiyle katilmistir.
Murder King artik sayisi artan ve hayatla problemi olan bir kitleyi temsil ediyor o yuzden markalasmak zorunda. Bu yonde atilimlara baslanmistir. Besteler, yorumlar, yeni programlar ve konserlerle sizinle olmaya sonuna kadar devam edeceklerdir.
