ＭＵＲＤＥＲ ＯＮＥ ＰＲＯＦＩＬＥ １９９５年地元湘南の仲間を中心に結成。翌年の９６年ＳＯＵＮＤ ＳＹＳＴＥＭ完成し稼動。 そして９７年STUDIOをスタート。またこの年に行われたＩＮＦＩＮＩＴＹ１６とのＳＯＵＮＤ ＣＬＡＳＨは”伝説の一戦”と呼ばれるほどの激戦であった。 ２０００年 当時としては魁であったＡＬＬジャパニーズＤＵＢプレート集”ムーダワン１巻”をリリース。以降、第２巻--2002年--別巻--2004年--３巻--2006年--と立て続けにリリースし、好セールスを記録するなど日本人にあったレゲエミュージックを目指し、現在はトラックメイカーとしても活躍が目立つ。そしてMOOMIN やNANJAMAN、湘南乃風、C.I.C、BAMIUDA、JR DEE、I-PAN DREADと言った地元アーティストや日本中のアーティストを起用し独自の湘南レゲエを構築し今日に至る。 湘南を中心に横浜・東京や全国のクラブから野外ダンスへと活動を広める。そしてレゲエダンスホールの楽しさや良さを追求し伝え続けるムーダワンサウンドシステムの音で踊れること まちがいなし。続々と新作ＣＤ制作中！詳しくはホームページで。
Murder One was formed in 1995 among a bunch of friends from the Shonan area in Japan. The following year, they built their own sound system and start running it.
In 1997, they opened their own studio. The sound clash which opposed them to Infinity16 that same year was so fierce that it was called “the Legendary Battle”.
In 2000, they released a compilation called “Murder One 1”, an all-Japanese dubplate album which was something totally unseen at that time. After that, they consecutively released Vol.2 (2002), Alternative version (2004) and Vol.3 (2006), and each album was a massive hit.
What they aim for is to provide reggae music that fits the Japanese listeners. Until today, they have worked with major Japanese artists as well as local Deejays and singers, raging from Moomin, Nanjaman, Shonan-no-Kaze, to C.I.C, Bamiuda, Jr. Dee, and I-Pan Dread, building up the Shonan Reggae scene. Their activity is centered around the Shonan area, but they also play in Yokohama, Tokyo and all over Japan, in clubs as well as outdoor reggae events.
Murder One is constantly in quest of the pleasure and greatness of dancehall reggae, making it their mission to communicating it to their audience. You will be rocking to their sound for sure.
