Murder is the unlawful killing of a human person with malice aforethought. Murder is generally distinguished from other forms of homicide by the elements of malice aforethought and the lack of lawful justification. All jurisdictions, ancient and modern, consider it a most serious crime.
Murder Therapy was born in Bologna on October 2007 when Francesco D'Adamo (also guitarist of the band
Cryptic Theory) answered the call of Riccardo and Simone (ex Creation of Madness) with the will to create
a new Death Metal project. After some month of practices Andrea Cavalieri joined the band as permanent drummer.
At the beginning of 2008 the lineup is complete and the band works hardly on songwriting,
making its first live shows in Bologna.
A selection of the written musical material becomes the band first official release, The Therapy, recorded at "Lo
Studio dell'Arkano", Altedo (Italy). Recording is finished by the end of June 2008, resulting in a very personal
mixture of Death Metal, blending sounds and atmospheres of american death bands with twisted, irregular and modern
patterns. The tracklist is the following:

The lyrics on this recording moves from memories of insane and deviant minds (Plainfield Memories and Carving
Human Sculptures) up to The Therapy, the song that
most of all rappresents the essence of the band: murder and abrupt explosions of violence are the therapy
of the contemporary society.
The response on "The Therapy" is extremely positive both from italian magazines and foreign ones, beings also Top Demo on Metalitalia and Noizemag.
The search for a label ends on December 2008 when Murder Therapy sign a deal with DEITY DOWN RECORDS for the release of their debut album, to be out around September 2009.
On March 2009 Andrea Cavalieri leaves the band. Marco "Samu" Bolognini joins Murder Therapy as new drummer, followed by his bandmate in Chaos Among Nameless Sean Worrell on the second guitar. With this new line-up the band is finishing the songwriting process to enter studio on June/July 2009. More details about the forthcoming album will be reveiled soon!

recording for a new set of releases called the "Persona Series". These
cassettes will be commissioned works (not by content, but by payment)
for individuals. If John Smith in London, England wants his own Zebulon
Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one side of a 90 minute
tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the album after him
(Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain all rights to
the recording (for use of any future release, sampling, or broadcasting
rights). One copy of the album will remain in my personal collection,
and one will be sent to the customer, so that the only copy that will
be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each album is available for
