Murgatroid is a 4 piece rock band whose members include:
Matt Teske – Guitar, Vocals
Matt Engelbrecht – Guitar, Vocals
Neil Roberts – Bass, Vocals
Brent Bryan – Drums, Vocals
Murgatroid was formed in Minneapolis in October of 2001. Since its inception the band has gone through many stylistic changes. Murgatroid has recorded two albums. The debut album “Schwa ” was released in August 2003. In May 2004, the band released a seven song EP. Murgatroid is always working on creating new sounds and ideas within their music.
Murgatroid has always had various roots and inspiration for playing music. Murgatroid’s music contains various styles and moods with the overall effect of a great rock and roll band. Murgatroid’s fanbase is extremely strong in Minnesota, large in numbers and spreading. We are striving to bring that same energy to Seattle and anywhere else we can play. Murgatroid has successfully played various clubs in Minnesota and Wisconsin including the Cabooze, Fineline Music Café, the Uptown Bar and Grill, 5 Corners Saloon, Onopa Brewing Company, and BBC’s. Murgatroid has very strong experience with performing live. Matt Teske was formerly in the band Quabalistic out of Milwaukee WI, and Brent Bryan has been a member in Minneapolis-based bands Food, Apollo’s Creed, The Saltines, Vitamin Blue, and God Johnson.

So, a funny thing happened last night....I went to the Rainbow to see a show, and one of the bands didn't show up.......I asked around and someone told me they broke up.......I was sad.
Hey guys... thanks for the carmel and apples at the BBQ about a month ago now... yipes it has been a while. Well mabey I'll get the chance to see you play. It was definately a pleasure to talk with you.
