One year in and murmur reaches ten releases, a continuous forward motion to explore the fertile soil of house music. The initial fruits of our labour included two fantastic Nick Curly EP’s, our first offering from the nomadic Nima Gorji and our own introductions to the style of Tom Demac and Geddes.

What are we doing next?

We just released our first various artists ep ‘Angeln’ which featured past and present label collaborators, which included an offering from label head Geddes ‘The Scene’. We’re going to follow this with what we feel are the strongest run of releases that murmur has put out. Simon Baker debuts for us at the beginning of October with his first ep. This is then followed by an outstanding track from a young Australian called Mic Newman. ‘Sizzled Sally’ is a big piano number which takes influences from the old school which we think will be a huge stepping stone for Mic and a big release for murmur, especially with 2000 and One on the remix.

Following this, we have another new signing BLM and Nima Gorji delivers his second murmur ep, following ‘The Gypsy Way’….
