If the words or the beat hits a chord in me (no pun intended) then I like it. Doesn't matter if it's old, new, hip-hop, rap, country, rock and roll or classical. | | Movies | I like the Harry Potter series, I loved Dirty Dancing, Steel Magnolia, and the Lake House. I also think "Cars" was one of the cutest animated films ever made. I also watch a lot of action movies with my husband, but I'm not into the blood and guts movies like Halloween, Elm Street, etc. I don't really like movies where the good guys never win. | | Television | I don't watch much television, but my husband and I do like the CSI shows, or any type of crime shows that are on. If my husband gets the remote first then we watch a lot of DIY tv. | | Books | I like to read -- anything. I love fiction, non-fiction, sci-fi, horror, romance, true stories, crime stories, biographies pretty much anything that peaks my interest as I'm browsing through the bookstore. I'm currently reading Winter Solstice by Rosamund Pilcher. I enjoy Nicholas Sparks and Stephen King. Just finished the final Dark Tower book. Glad to finally get to the end of that series. | | Heroes | My older brother. He went through so much in his life before he died that it was hard not to admire the courage he had to keep going in spite of all the hardships of his illness. |

About me:
I'm 43. My husband, Tony, and I are getting ready to celebrate our 20th Anniversary on November 7, 2008. Can't quite believe it's been that long! He's sweet and says we're still on our honeymoon. How can you not love a guy like that?
I sing and play bass (kindof) in a band in our local area. Mainly lots of country, some gospel, and some classic rock and roll.

Who I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet Oprah Winfrey, I admire her and the things she does. I'd also like to meet Reba McEntire.
I have met Don Johnson, William Shatner, and Alan Alda (who was sitting at a table next to me in a McDonald's at Newark Airport). Really nice guy!
I also met Nadia Comanici (sp?), Bart Conner and Hugh Hefner. I was at a party my company was hosting at the Playboy mansion for some sports personalities. That was pretty cool!
