On June 22, 2007 Professional BMX Rider Stephen Murray was critically injured while competing in the Dew Tour in Baltimore Ma. It would later be confirmed that Stephen had suffered career ending injuries to his crushing his spinal cord and vertebrae. Long time friend Kimarie Hunt came to the aide of the family by over seeing countless benefits & fund raiser. She turned to "myspace" to which had the capabilities of reaching tens of thousands all at one time. She would post weekly updates & photos on Stephen's day to day progress.recovery.


The original Stephen Murray Stay Strong tee was done just days after his injury. A black & yellow tee was made and given to all athletes at the Cleveland stop of the Dew Tour. Once the footage aired Kimarie began getting emails asking if the tee was available for purchase. Her days & nights were spent folding and shipping tee's, knowing each tee sold was someone who had heard of Stephen's story.
It wasn't until much later and many T shirt's sold, that a corporation was developed and Kimarie would find herself single handedly building a company that would touch the heart of millions and affect just about everyone!
Kimarie has traveled the World to build the Stay Strong Brand. She has built an online store that in only a few months had 100,000 visitors. Not too bad for new company.

With every item shipped Kimarie includes a personal note of thanks and appreciation. Stay Strong, Not Just a Saying But a Way of Life! Kimarie has made it her personal mission to stand by Stephen, his two young boys maintaining the "What Ever it Takes" attitude to keep Stephen's name and story in the media. They have done features with media from major broadcasting networks such as NBC, ESPN, HBO, MTV2, MTV TRL, BBC, FOX FUEL and may local stations, magazines and newspapers across the World.

Once a saying has now become a way for everyone who is dealing with a personal challenge or illness to take on the "Stay Strong" attitude. We see the potential of the company and how the effect of Stay Strong has on people. We want Stay Strong to be something everyone can relate to. Kimarie says: "She would like to see the term used with many causes" people going through personal challenge, illness, lost loved one's. As she simply puts "No matter Your Fight, Stay Strong!"

Now over two years later Stephen continues his rehab & raising his son's Seth & Mason. None of this would be possible without the help of so many... to many to possibly thank in a lifetime! A special thank you to John Jennings who moved from the East Coast to hep with Stephen's recovery and now helps with Stephen's everyday care. Friends who have traveled across the World to help, Chris Mason, Marco Delosolia.
