MushroomConsumption, productores independientes del Ecuador que trabajan sobre una base de Trance que sin llegar a ser comercial se fusiona con elementos de Latin music, Dance, House, Dark, Reggae, y Rock, y que actuando como un proyecto paralelo de la gente de The Grief ( Doom Black Metal – Ecuador ), se conjuga en Psychedelic Trance.
Sohamel, Q-sao y The Grief quienes participan directamente de la producción, vienen trabajando juntos desde 1996, con agrupaciones desaparecidas como Kybalion(Doom Metal) y Yanashungo (Folk-Ska), sin embargo MushroomConsumption está dedicado a la produccion de electrónic sounds desde agosto del 2003 y lanza su primera recopilación de Tracks en agosto del 2006 bajo el nombre de "Ecuadorian Magic Shroom", con una clara influencia de Trance[]Control.
Actualmente se hallan trabajando sobre lo que será su segundo album "Sensations". Gracias a influencias de DJs Ecuatorianos como Dj Santiago Saa y DJ Diego Celi, Mushroom Consumption en este segundo album experimenta con ritmos como en Drum&Bass, Minimal y DarkWave para su edicion.
