Welcome to Shaman's Path. My name is Martin and I'm the creator of the works you find here on this page. I've put this page together to promote a variety of related spiritual and artistic projects. The primary focus here is on my recently released book, Mushroom Wisdom by Ronin Publishing (November, 2006). I'm also promoting my album, Infinite Horizons, some of the songs of which are featured on this page.
To tell you a little about myself, I hold a Ph.D. in Religious Studies with an emphasis on Native American spiritual traditions and philosophy, Shamanism, and the spiritual use of Entheogens. I have also studied with Mescalero Apache medicine people and completed my dissertation work on the Mescalero Mountain Spirit religious tradition.
Spiritually, I underwent a profound transformation in my spiritual life a little more than a decade ago. I was initiated by the psilocybin mushrooms I had consumed and it revolutionized my personal understanding and experience of spirituality.
Mushroom Wisdom is a direct product of this spiritual awakening. In the decade since that transformation, I have been exploring the lessons imparted to me through art, music, and spiritual exploration and shamanic practice. The result is an inspiring and thought provoking book that provides clear instructions, techniques, and practices for gaining a deep level of personal and spiritual realization thorugh the shamanic use of psilocybin mushrooms. This is not a book about how to have a "good trip," but rather is a serious study combining deep philosophical and metaphysical analysis, techniques and practices for spiritual empowerment, deep self-awareness, and transcendent consciousness. While there are many books available on the topic of psilocybin mushrooms, Mushroom Wisdom is the first to address the universal spiritual aspects of the mushroom experience from a non-ethnographic perspective that can be applied to anyone's spiritual practice and shamanic exploration.

Hmm... you think the freaking government would at least consider legalizing the potential healing powers of Ayahuasca, Psilocybes, and even Marijuana. Apparently, the entity called the Government(or the mass collection of money eaters) has a right to tell the individual on how to care of their physical and spiritual needs.
Who comes up with these laws that would inhibit the rights our fellow Americans before us has fought for?
Are we not human beings deserving compassion and respect?
Why deprive an intelligent entity from the most natural of medicines?
C'mon you think these empty brain apes would appear to think more logically when it comes to healing spiritually. Of course taking drugs or mind awaking psychedelic isn't always mandatory in order to ponder the deeper meanings of all energy that is in existence.
