Music55-7 makes music happen, music that inspires people to be creative and positive.
We have a strong tradition in programming high quality music events stretching back to 1987 and although we are proud of that 21-year heritage, we feel we are just coming of age. Our values centre around being open, engaging, informative, inspirational and entertaining. Our roots are in classical music but we also engage with music from many other traditions. We welcome everyone who enjoys live music, learning and sharing musical experiences.

Sorry for the delay in the message. Hope you don’t mind…
When we truly let go of past hurts, hang-ups and disappointments and choose to live in the moment, in the now, in the PRESENT, life truly can be a GIFT.
Hope you liked this one. :)
Also, if you like these, shoot me comments letting me know, join me on my Facebook page and when I send you a link to my website once it gets finished next week, be sure to go it and sign up and I’ll send these to you there as well. Take care
Hello, my friend. Another Tankism to brighten your week. Hope it helps :)
Look at life from the perspective of what you have NOW, what you are grateful for NOW. If you continue to look into the PAST as to what you have lost, when you open your PRESENT, you will not like what you get. However, by focusing firmly on where you are directing your FUTURE by thinking on those things which are good and pure and what you do want to happen, as you unfold your PRESENT, you will find the gift that you know you really want. And, it really is that simple. As a wise person once said: If you believe you can't, you're rightif yet if you believe you CAN, you're right. What do you believe? :)
Firstly thanks to everyone who came down last month, twas a great wee gig and the place was jumping to old skool jungle til the wee early hours.
We’ve got our second credit crunching, barrack busting dance off on Saturday the 6th June. Tuneage on the night will come from Homespun and Rudimentary resident Chuck bringing some of his latin & broken beat flava to the Apache rig, and we’re glad to have Belfast turntablist & producer John King back again this month to bring some serious deck skills to the table. Finishing of the night will be Apache residents Jayuu and Jim Morton dropping some soulful dnb rollers til late in the night.
The paltry fee of a 5er will get you entrance and as per usual it’s a bring your own event. Things will be kicking of around 9.30pm at Blick Studios, 51 Malone Road (across the road from the Church)
Hi Music 55-7, thanks for the add... we've just finished "17" by Bill Drummond and moving on to "The Rest is Noise" by Alex Ross so hopefully we'll manage some kind of conversation if we ever meet...
Come along to Open Space Dance Company's night of contemporary dance and music. The event is called ' Collision' and includes a new work 'Bild Lilli', choreographed by exciting young choreographer Oona Doherty with music composed and conducted by me.
We’ve got the first in a series off gigs kicking off on Sat 18th April. Blick Studios are kindly supplying the venue for a night of dub, funk, hiphop, broken beat, dnb & jungly kinda sounds
