About me: I began “Music is Bulletproof” after my life was changed by a random shooting, but this campaign is not about me, it is about you, your neighbors, and your families. I want to stop this senseless violence and promote the idea of "One hand washes the other and both wash the face"
My shooting occurred in the atlas district, Washington DC, and the only "suspect" lived only a block away. My hope is that by coming together as a community, and reaching out to those around us, we can maintain a safer and happier society. I want people from all ages and races in our community to come together at events like “Music is Bulletproof” to get to know one another, and support Victims of Violent Crimes in our area.
Music is bullet proof is not going to stop the violence in the neighborhood, but we need to make a change and be more involved to make the neighborhood safer and better.
This Year Music is bulletproof is focusing on the U-VISA. If you want to know about it, feel free to ask me about the U-visa.
I produced this video because music has been a special part of my life. this time is to express how it feels getting shot.
There's many victims of violent crime in DC.
It seems to be easier for criminals than for victims to get back to society. there's no many people willing to give you a second chance.
