*old update*THIS IS FOR ALL YOU GUYS WHO CME TO THE PARTY IN THE PARK LAST NIGHT! I just wanna thank the bands who came and played (and those who didn't get a chance too as well!) but yea, just so everyone knows, the party being shut down was in no way the city's or the police's fault. they were doing their jobs, and did a bang up job as well. If you really need to convince yourselves that it was someone's fault, i guess it was technically the people who lived in the neighborhoodfor calling and complaining. and even then, it wasn't really their fault cause they never knew it was for charity. so no one here is really to blame. i thought it went great for the most part and i'm very pleased with how long we were able to keep it going. I'm also gonna thank Lucas Peerman for writing one amazing article on thursday for this concert!But by far there is one group of individuals that were absolutely amazing last night. It was Kenny and his two sons. The owners of K&W Audio. They were there just as long as i was (close to 15 hours) and were enjoying it just as much as me. when every band was setting up, they were allways their on the ball helping out getting the bands to sound great and have a good time. These guys are truely amazing individuals and I am honored to have met them yesterday. If there is anytime where ANYONE needs audio, go to these guys, altho they own their own business, they work through Mesilla Valley Pr Music. Or even if you see them anywhere in twn, shake their hands, they deserve it byfar. as for the raffles, i haven't selected the winners due to lack of time. tommorow after i get everything done that i need, i will post them up here, and give te winners a call to tell them that they have won! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us yesterday. Because of you, there is no doubt in my mind that i'm gonna do this again next year!

Hello Everyone! This is The Musical Racket. I have been creating music for about 7 years now. Back in the day when we were on another site (which was later bought by cnet.com) We were ..1 in town for electronic music, and I am hoping to keep that record. I handle CDs a little differently than most. I make a FULL CD before i release it. None of this 25 minute garbage. Full 80 minute CD or none. Right now I am in the process of making my 8th CD, known as MR8. For those few people that have been following us since MR1, you know that we've came a LONG way since. Not only am I working on the self produced CDs, I will soon get some DJ equipment as well, so I will be able to do parties and whatnot. And since i'll just be starting out, I'll be cheap, so you won't have to worry about costs. And as well, I will be starting a Tradition as well. I'm gonna call it, "Clubbing In The Park." I will be getting alot of DJ from Las Cruces to play live at Youngs Park. Hopefully, I will have help as well as support from the techno scene in Las Cruces.
